APOD are the initials of Astronomy Picture of the Day, a free utility for your wallpapers, that will delight all fans of space and astronomy.
The task of APOD is nothing less than download each day a new space image from the NASA servers, also including a detailed description that lets you know what you are seeing in the image. The description is also optional: you can delete it if you prefer to just have the image.
To finish, APOD includes a link to the NASA image files, where you can see and save all the space images saved there.
